It is our belief that there are many people (in our area and around the World) who are drawn to the magic of the sailing lifestyle and who would dearly love to get into our sport but just don't know where to start.

Good question.
The answer is simple.
Yacht brokers, while providing an essential service to the sailboat purchasing public, have one essential negative working against them when it comes to welcoming new sailors into the best lifestyle in the World.
They really want to sell you a boat.
This urgent need on their part (and we get it, you have to stay in business somehow) colors their every interaction with you. Say, as part of their interaction with you, it becomes clear to them that the kind of boat you really should be looking at is part of a brand represented by a rival broker. How likely do you think they're going to be to refer you to that competitive brand? Not very. Instead they're likely to try their best to find a boat, within the brands they represent, that will come
as close as possible to meeting your needs.
Problem is, when embarking on a purchase as significant as a sailboat, I think we would all agree that we'd prefer 'the perfect fit' over 'as close as possible'.

Of course, if you so choose, we can continue to work with you throughout the purchasing process, even handling the negotiating, closing, delivery and commissioning process (don't worry, we'll explain what that means) on your behalf.
